Bunkhouse room on top of Ocoee Ridge, overlooking the Cherokee National Forest and 7-8 miles from the lake, rafting, hiking, biking and tubing. The main room has bunk beds and will sleep up to 10 people. The room also has three private shower stalls and two private toilet stalls, and a large vanity with double sinks. WiFi is available along with the use of our basketball court and pavilion. Bedding, towels and wash cloths are not provided. This bunkhouse room has no kitchen or television. This is only a room within our large bunkhouse. Meals and activities, such as high ropes, paintball and water park are optional.

This large cabin will sleep 18. This cabin is set up for groups who want to stay in one location and save money on lodging. The cabin has two levels, the main level and the basement level. The cabin has built-in bunk beds and two separate single beds in a private bedroom. Bedding is needed for this cabin, along with towels and wash cloths. The Ivy Cottage is our smallest and most affordable log cabin. This adorable 450 square foot two-story log cabin makes no concessions when it comes to comfortable furnishings and charm. It's really got everything you need. This cabin is very popular with business travelers, couples, and small families. The downstairs bedroom has a double bed with a 19 inch flat screen TV, DVD player, and movie collection. This is the only TV in the cabin. Additional sleeping is available on two twin beds located in the loft, which is accessed by a ' ship's ladder '. A word of warning, the upstairs may be unsuitable for very young or rambunctious children. The living room is small but is made very comfortable with 2 wing-back chairs, and one has an ottoman. The cottage has central heat and air conditioning. The kitchen has a table for two, stove/oven, single basin sink, toaster, microwave oven, coffee maker, and a small refrigerator that fits underneath the kitchen counter. There are dishes, cooking, and eating utensils. There is a park style charcoal grill outside. The bathroom has a full size shower/tub combination with whirlpool jets and a single basin sink. We believe that you will find the furnishings very pleasing right down to the hand carved "kissing squirrels." A large deck wraps around two sides of the cabin and provides additional 'outdoor living space'. Just outside of your bedroom door you'll hear the sounds of the creek tumbling by on it's way to the Ocoee River. The deck features reclined bench seating positioned around a patio fireplace, and a table with chairs for outdoor dining. Winter rentals enjoy 2 free bundles of firewood per night. Additional firewood can be purchased for $5/bundle. Across the gravel driveway you'll see multiple flower gardens, a nice grassy field for sports, horse shoe pit, basketball court, and a creek for exploring. It is about a 1 minute walk down to our riverside pavilion and swimming/fishing dock. The river is controlled by the Ocoee No. 1 Dam, and is subject to changes related to water releases. Typically mornings provide a placid river about 3' deep with little to no current. You can easily spot fish and see the bottom. Swimming is easiest during this time of day. In the afternoons water releases will raise the level of the river to about 6' and the current becomes quite swift. Competent swimmers can still swim during this time if you stay close to the shore. The river becomes deep enough to jump off of our dock during these high water periods. Wildlife commonly seen along the river include Great Blue Herons, Kingfishers, wild ducks, bald eagles, river otters, coyotes, raccoons, and of course fish. We even saw a deer once swimming in the river! We have been offering our Ivy Cottage for nightly rentals for 22 years and enjoy lots of repeat guests. The Pines cabin is located at Welcome Valley Village, a log cabin retreat on Tennessee’s Ocoee River. Our 17 acre property is diverse with lots of mature forest, 750’ of riverfront, and a mountain stream running through the center of the property. The Village has a feeling of remoteness yet it’s less than 2 miles from the highway. Whether you're coming to take in all our area has to offer or just hang out and relax for a few days, The Pines is one of the finest accommodations available in our area. Guests love the easy access, private location, cabin design, and beautiful furnishings. Some guests check-in and never leave the property until it’s time for them to go home. Others use the cabin as an outpost for day hikes, biking, whitewater rafting, fishing, and photography. Many take a day to visit Cleveland (20 minutes), Chattanooga (50 minutes), and other nearby points of interest. There are two grocery stores, liquor stores, and several restaurants within 10 minutes of The Village. The Pines is an 850 ft2 single story log cabin with 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen, wood burning fireplace, and a 2-person whirlpool tub. The cabin is in the river flood plain, so it is elevated off of the ground. There are 14 steps to reach the cabin level. This cabin is perfect for 2-4 guests, but there is sleeping space for 6 to 8 for large families. The dining room table seats 6. A great room includes the kitchen, dining area, and living area. Six nice large windows allow natural light and views of the river. The living area has a sofa/futon, a padded chair, and a long fireplace hearth which provides additional seating. The fireplace has a beautiful stacked stone face and hearth. The hearth continues on around a large Jacuzzi in the corner of the room. If you need entertained there is a 32” Samsung flat-screen TV, DVD player, and movie library. We have antenna TV and get about a dozen channels including ABC, CBS, NBC, PBS, and FOX. Our Wi-Fi is great for streaming video, music, and movies. The kitchen has a refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave oven, coffee maker, and toaster along with cookware, dinnerware, and cutlery. There is not a dishwasher, but there is a drying rack and dish washing soap provided. We also provide cloth dish towels, paper towels, napkins, paper plates, plastic cups, coffee filters, salt and pepper, and sweetener packets. There is a "park style" charcoal grill just off of the porch for grilling, and a nice campfire pit with chairs and a swing beside the river. The Master Bedroom has a queen size bed, nightstand and table lamp. The second bedroom has a full size bed. a set of bunk beds, night stand, table lamps, and a small chair. A futon in the living room provides additional sleeping options. Our linens and bedding are very nice. The bathroom has a double vanity and 2 clothes closets. A door separates this room from a second room where the shower and toilet are located. Both bedrooms have a door leading into the bathroom vanity area (ie. the bathroom is located in-between the bedrooms). Our are fluffy. A large covered porch on the river side of the cabin gives you a great view of the forest floor below, flower gardens, and the river. Your campfire pit is in this area beside the river. Since the cabin is elevated, the view from the porch is greatly enhanced (see photos)! There is a porch swing, large table, and 6 chairs. Beneath the porch hang several swings, and one of them is “for 2”. This makes for an interesting, additional place for children to hang out and play, especially whenever it’s raining. The forest is thinned out on the river side of the cabin, so that you can easily stroll around enjoying our native and cultivated flower beds. It’s a really nice place to relax and watch the river to see what flies or swims by. We have a trail which loops around our 17 acre property it runs alongside the riverbank near your campfire pit. Venture either North or South from there for a nice walk around the property. We live onsite and are ready to help you make the very best of your vacation, and are readily available to assist with any problem which may arise.

The views are breathtaking. Take your camera. Take a picnic lunch as there are picnic tables up there. Also about 25 miles away is field of the woods. Its a complete religious experience to see the ten commandents;jesus tomb;and all kinds of other things. Take a picnic lunch here also. Murphy, nc. Is only fifty miles away and the drive there is also beautiful. Lots of things to do there. On the way go to the hiwassie flea mkt on tues ea wk. Purchased and managed by two college buddies who have been fly fishing together over fifteen years, this property is the perfect place to get away from it all and do some fishing. Located on the beautiful Hiwassee River in southeastern Tennessee, this cabin is close to all the action. Twenty minutes south and you can be rafting on the Ocoee River. Thirty minutes north you can fish the famous Tellico river in Tellico Plains, TN. Or you can just stay on the Hiwassee River while rafting and fishing! Whatever your daily activities entail, you can rely on one thing; the evening at the cabin will be unforgettable. Enjoy relaxing in a rocking chair on the porch, or plan a cookout using the grill. Sight Seeing: Motorcycles are welcome and encouraged to come and enjoy the beautiful scenery around the Cherokee National Forest. There is a winery on Hwy 411 and a many areas for a Sunday drive for the leaves of the fall.

The name of our property is "The Anglers Hideaway", and for good reason. The setting is very secluded and is located on the Hiwassee River in Tennessee. The Hiwassee is a nationally known river for trout fishing. This river is also fun for rafters and kayakers alike. With the Cherokee National Forest out the back door one could hike or mountain bike all day and then some. When at the cabin one feels as though they are away from it all. There's a babbling brook running through the front yard that's great to sleep to at night. Rocking chairs on the front and side porch make for a great spot to read a book or hang out with friends. A big yard for kids, and even a covered bridge leading to the property to add to the scenery. The views across the river are natural since it is owned by the University of Tennessee Tree Farm and contains a Cherokee Indian burial ground. Both bedrooms are located upstairs. One bedroom has a full size bed and the other has 2 twin beds. A full bath is located between the bedrooms with a tub/shower. The main floor is an open floor plan with living room, dining room and kitchen. There is a 1/2 bath located on the main floor. The sofa in the living room sleeps 2 with a sofa bed that pulls out. (This property is one unit of two in a duplex; however the other side will not be occupied while this unit is rented for your privacy. The other side could be rented simultaneously, but we reserve for our own personal use when side A is not rented.) The property is located 6.8 miles to the Reliance Bridge and Webb Brothers Store. The Hiwassee River is excellent for trout fishing. There are guide services available for fishing and rafting companies which furnish tubes, rafts and fun-yaks located nearby. You can actually fish right from the dock on the property itself! Additionally, many people float the lower Hiwassee. You can float from the Reliance Bridge all the way to the dock on the property or put in on the dock and float down to Patty Bridge for a more relaxed trip. Restaurants are located nearby in Etowah, Benton and Ocoee. The City of Cleveland is a 30 minute drive from the property for finer dining and a larger selection.

Conveniently located just 5 minutes from historic downtown Cleveland, 15 minutes from world class white water rafting at the Ocoee River and a quick 30 minutes up the interstate from Chattanooga. The space offers a separate entrance, living area, kitchen/dining and bathroom. All basic essentials are provided (i.e. linens, cook wear, coffee maker, hair dryer, etc.). We do permit access to the lake and we have 2 kayaks and 1 boat available, plus fishing poles. You are welcome to bring your own poles and gear. We do allow pets so long as they are house/crate trained and trimmed nails. We do have dogs ourselves.
